Perspective: A Memoir

By Cathryn Clinton

ABOUT THE BOOK:

This engaging memoir by award-winning children’s book author Cathryn Clinton is an honest, revealing, beautifully written work of literature. Clinton explores her ups and downs of early life and family with humor and honesty, including the effects of fundamentalist indoctrination on her psyche and her struggles to break free, in order to find mental, physical, and spiritual health. When she discovered her gift of creative writing, with the guidance of valuable mentors in higher education and the support of her children, she started writing children’s books that garnered immediate publishing contracts and continue to resonate powerfully with readers of many ages. In Clinton’s own words: “Writing itself had healed my perspective of the world.”
